I am sitting in the South Coast Plaza store with new shoes that proved to be uncomfortable before I even walked one step on an aircraft (I require comfortable shoes for long range flying with work).

The San Francisco store where I purchased the shoes from was amazing. They told me I could return and refund the shoes if they werenโ€™t suitable. The shoes turned out to be uncomfortable.

I entered the Costa Mesa store to be told by Manager Rudy that it was not possible to receive my refund in cash (which is how I paid for the shoes). I replied that I was a foreigner-although in the USA every week and mailing a check was unacceptable particularly when Iโ€™d been told I could receive a cash refund.

Rudy and her staff told me โ€œthere is no cash in the storeโ€. Really?

I relayed that I was not going to leave the store until I received my refund and miraculously a register with a till full of cash was opened and my refund given.

I donโ€™t like being lied to. I donโ€™t like dishonesty and disrespect.

The staff should not collude with each other when you are a customer standing within 2 feet of them.

Appalling service with staff that require more training.

I have purchased shoes from your Dallas store without issue however after this experience my advice is to never shop at the Walking Shoe Company.

Horrible experience.
